A sacred pause to turn inward and remember the light within you, the part that may have grown dim but never disappeared.
The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year and the quiet beginning of the earth’s return to light. This gathering invites you to slow down, soften into the dark, and listen to the truth inside you that daily life often drowns out.
This is not about resolutions or fixing yourself. It is about presence, patience, and tending to the spark within you that is ready to be seen again.
In this circle we will move gently, breathe with intention, reflect in stillness, and reconnect with the inner light that guides you.
Come exactly as you are. Your light is still here.
This is not a workshop. It’s not a performance. It’s not a space to fix yourself.
It’s a sacred circle of women coming together to soften, to listen, and to remember the light inside them. A place to release what has grown heavy, honor the darkness, and root into your own natural rhythm. No more performing. No more pretending. No more being who you were told to be.
Through ritual, somatic movement, nervous system attunement, journaling, and spacious reflection, you’ll be invited to come home to yourself. Gently. Quietly. Without needing to prove a thing.
You can expect:
✨ a grounding ritual to honor the Winter Solstice and the wisdom of the longest night
✨ gentle somatic yoga led by Melanie Deal to help your body release what it has been holding and invite safety back into your nervous system
✨ a circle of witness: safe, intimate, honest, and nourishing
✨ journaling prompts and quiet reflection to hear what is ready to be released and what inner spark is ready to return
✨ a closing ceremony with warm beverages to anchor your light and walk into the new season rooted, clear, and deeply restored
Come exactly as you are. There is nothing to fix. Only parts of you asking to be remembered.
Winter does not negotiate. She brings the dark, the cold, and the quiet without apology. She isn’t asking you to push through. She’s asking you to pause and listen.
This season teaches what hustle culture refuses to acknowledge.
✨ Stillness is not stagnation.
🌙 Darkness is not danger.
What you’re seeking isn’t out there. It’s the light inside you, the one you’ve been too busy, too overwhelmed, too pulled apart to notice.
We gather now because the world has forgotten how to rest. Because women are taught to earn their worth and seek validation from the external. To be everything for everyone. To keep shining even when your body is whispering for pause.
The longest night is a threshold, a reset, a remembering.
It’s time to return to the spark you’ve been carrying quietly in your chest and let it rise again.
You’re allowed to be here exactly as you are.
And you’re already welcome.

To support your body in this practice, you’re invited to bring a yoga mat, a blanket, or anything else that helps you feel grounded and at ease. I’ll provide journaling paper, pens, and warm beverages for our closing ritual.
Somatic yoga is a gentle, nervous-system led practice that helps your body release the tension, stuck emotions, and old survival patterns it has been quietly carrying. Through slow, mindful movement, the body signals safety to the brain, softening you out of fight or flight and back into a calm, regulated state.
For the Winter Solstice, a time of turning inward and rekindling what has been dimmed, we will be guided by Melanie Deal, our guest practitioner for the evening.
Melanie Deal, RYT-500 and eRYT-200, has been teaching yoga since 2002. She loves to focus on the more therapeutic styles of yoga and has incorporated somatic yoga into her daily life to help manage her autoimmune diseases, stress, and anxiety. Melanie's extensive experience and personal journey with somatic yoga make her an inspiring and knowledgeable guide for this practice.
